FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 30, 2020

PORT CLINTON, Ohio, November 30th, 2020 – African Safari Wildlife Park will be closing for the 2020 Season on Sunday, December 6th. The Park is tentatively scheduled to re-open for the 2021 Season on February 26th.

“We’ve had an unprecedented and WILD year” said the Park’s Director, Kelsey Keller. “Despite these uncertain times, we certainly had a good Season. As a safe, outdoor, and family-friendly Safari Park, we saw hundreds of new, masked, faces come through this Season. We were able to accomplish a lot this year, including several new exhibits, a reservation system, and our private Giraffe Encounter experience! We hope to see everyone back again in the 2021 Season!”

The Drive-Thru Safari, which offers Guests the opportunity to see and feed over 400+ individual animals right from their car, will remain open until December 6th, 2020. The Walk-Thru Safari and Activities officially closed for winter on October 4th. Walk-Thru Safari scheduled to re-open early May 2021.

The Park wants to thank everyone, especially the local community, for the incredible support they received during the 2020 Season and are looking forward to 2021 and its 53rd Season.
