PORT CLINTON, Ohio, December 1, 2021- Families looking for interactive animal adventures will want to head to African Safari Wildlife Park before it closes for the 2021 season on Sunday, December 5. The Park is tentatively scheduled to re-open for the 2022 Season on March 18th.

“We’ve had a WILD year, and saw thousands of new faces come through this season.” said the Park’s Director, Kelsey Keller. “We were able to accomplish a lot this year, including the opening of a  new Walk-Thru Giraffe exhibit, a new Sacred Ibis exhibit, and implementing a new ticketing and reservation system! We hope to see everyone back again in the 2022 Season!”

The Drive-Thru Safari, which offers Guests the opportunity to see and feed over 400 individual animals right from their car, will remain open until December 5th, 2021. The Walk-Thru Safari and Activities officially closed for winter on October 3rd. The Walk-Thru Safari is scheduled to re-open early May 2022.

The Park wants to thank everyone, especially the local community, for the incredible support they received during the 2021 Season and are looking forward to the Parks 54th Season in 2022.

The Ohio Safari Park®, African Safari Wildlife Park, is located at 267 S. Lightner Rd. in Port Clinton, Ohio. The Park is open Friday through Monday, Rain or Shine, 10AM – 5PM with the last car admitted at 4PM.
