Hi, I’m “Cayenne”!

Three-year-old male Linnaeus Two-Toed Sloth, Cayenne, has been at the park since 2024 and certainly has one big personality!

Cayenne is very curious and quick to investigate anything new coming into his habitat. He is nocturnal and spends most of the day sleeping, but as soon as Cayenne hears his keepers’ keys jingling, or their voices entering his enclosure he is quick to wake up and greet his keepers.

Sloths like Cayenne, move so slow because of what they eat. He very much likes his food, particularly his vegetables. His favorites include carrots, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and squash!

Come greet and feed Cayenne his favorite foods this winter during a Sloth Feeding Encounter!
