| MEET |
| THE ANIMALS |
| More than 50 different Animal species - from
Giraffe and Zebras to Alpacas and Camels. AFRICAN
SAFARI WILDLIFE PARK is among the leaders in the United States
conservation efforts. During the year 2006, we anticipate more than 200
births. Some of the most significant research and breeding efforts focus on
the Alpaca, White Zebra, Giraffe and the very rare
Giant Eland. Come meet our Warthogs! American's interest in Warthogs has grown tremendously due to the popularity of the animal in the past few years. There are less than 75 Warthogs living in the United States. Many have seen and fell in love with Pumba from Disney's "The Lion King" and "Simba's Pride".
|
| The Camels are perhaps the least camera shy of all the
animals at the park. You may also ride on a Camel in our Walk-Thru (at no
additional charge) (weight & height restrictions apply). There are many
great photo opportunities available to visitors at the park, and no two
Camels are exactly alike. When you tour our 100-acre preserve, you will see some of the most beautiful and exotic animals, roaming free in their natural habitat. The Drive-Thru may be visited as many times as you would like. One free bucket of food will be provided. You are able to feed the animals at AFRICAN SAFARI WILDLIFE PARK out of the comfort of your own vehicle, and additional buckets of food may be purchased. When you finish Driving through the Safari, proceed to Safari Junction (in the Walk-Thru area). Be sure to attend the Pig Races and the Educational Animal Programs. You can also ride on a Pony at no additional charge between Memorial Day and Labor Day. (weight & height restrictions apply) |
